Activating the Dot3D Trial
Dot3D offers a 7 day trial period for potential buyers looking to test out the software before determining if they want to pay for a subscription. To activate your free trial, first, click on the "Free 7-Day Trial" button on the subscription you want to test at the purchasing page - https://dot3dapp.com/licensing/buyDot3d
You will be asked to provide an email for further communications about your trial.
After entering your email and hitting continue, you should recieve a 6-digit verification code in your inbox. Enter it into the new prompt, and click continue. Please make sure to check your Spam/Junk inbox if you don't see it.
You should be automatically redirected to a page thanking you for your subscription, and informing you that it will be sent to your provided email's inbox. Please note that you will receive two emails: one confirming the trial request went through, and a second one that contains the key you need to start your trial.
Once you have this key, you can enter it into the Dot3D software to start your 7 day subscription. For information on how to enter your trial key, please refer to the following article https://dotproduct.zohodesk.com/portal/en/kb/articles/3-2-entering-your-license-key.
When you activate your Trial you should see the version next to the Dot3D logo in the upper left corner of your main gallery screen change from "Dot3D Free" to "Dot3D Trial."
Once your Trial runs out, you will automatically revert back to Free mode. Please be aware that scans made in Free mode will save to the .dpx file format, and will only be viewable within the Dot3D software, with no ability to convert to other formats.
