3.3.8 Adding Reference Constraints: Quick guide
(For a video tutorial on this, please click the link here)
If you have reference constraints to apply to your data, they need to be input before you optimize your scan.
Adding reference constraints is recommended, especially for larger scenes, but ultimately still optional. You can still get great data without them, especially in smaller areas.
To begin, tap on the targets option.
Next, select the "Reference Distances" button near the top left to begin inputting measured distances into your scene.
From here, you can tap on two tags to input data about their distance from each other.
You can repeat this process with as many tags as you have measurement information about to help improve accuracy during scene optimization.
