2.1 Operating Systems

Dot3D is built to be cross platform, working on the major operating systems. However you must have the correct application for each OS. For example, you need an .apk version for Android or .exe for Windows.

Compatible Operating Systems:

  1. Apple iOS - Dot3D for iOS works on iOS platforms that have the Apple LiDAR camera.  More information may be found here: https://www.dotproduct3d.com/ios.html
  2. Microsoft Windows - Dot3D for Windows is compatible with Windows 10 and above.
  3. Google Android - Dot3D is compatible with Android version ____ and above.

Operating System Differences 

Operating Dot3D under Windows, Android or iOS versions of Dot3D is nearly the same. However, there are some subtle differences. We try to note the major differences where possible in the relevant articles. For example, the File Share function behaves very differently between each operating system.
