Known Issue: Auto Exposure Problems with Intel RealSense Depth Camera D455
In our testing we have recognized a rare issue with the new Intel RealSense Depth Camera D455. If you start scanning with your D455 and see large holes in your scene (grey checkerboard areas not being recognized by the camera), you may be running into this known issue, which can result in tracking issues and data inaccuracies if not resolved first. If you are seeing this problem, do not complete your scan until you have resolved the issue. Please try the following to resolve the problem:
1.
Update your Intel RealSense firmware.
2. Try unchecking the ""Force Depth AE Central ROI" box under under Sensor Settings.
3. Unplug and re-plug the camera into your tablet/phone.
4. Restart Dot3D.
5. Try both 3 and 4 again if the problem persists.
