Dot3D Scan Recovery | Auto-Backup During Scanning

This brief tutorial covers the new auto-backup capability built into Dot3D 5.3 & up for iOS, Windows, and Android:

Never lose a scan again! Dot3D 5.3 now has you fully covered in the unfortunate case of mid-scan interruptions, popups, distractions, crashes, etc. We realize these situations do happen, and can be extremely frustrating, especially on very large scans. So, we're very glad to now include automatic backup/recovery during scanning in all versions of Dot3D 5.3 & up.

DISCLAIMER: While this feature is built to have you covered in just about any scenario that might pop up during scanning, we still wouldn't necessarily recommend intentionally relying on it. While you can now scan with confidence knowing Recovery will be there for you when you need it, your first line of attack should always still be to capture the full scene in one go.
