To access the settings in the Dot3D app, tap the gear icon located in the top right corner of the screen. Here, you can make changes to various settings within the app
Under the "Sensors/Cameras" option, you can modify your scan settings, such as camera depth, strong depth filtering, units, and the ability to detect April Tags. Unless you have a specific reason to change them, it's recommended to leave these settings as they are, except for the units, which you can adjust to your preference.
The "More Settings" section also includes additional scan settings that should generally be left alone unless you're experiencing a unique troubleshooting situation.
The "Photo and Annotations" settings can be accessed from the main settings menu. Here, you can toggle various user interface options and create custom annotation classes for your users to fill out.
Under the "Units / More" settings, you can adjust your default units and customize various other app features such as app analytics, native file dialogs, and screenshot settings. You can also set your home folder to be the app's root folder.
In the main settings menu, you'll find other important tabs below the dividing line. The "Download AprilTags" button will take you to a webpage where you can download printable AprilTags. The "Feedback/Help" tab allows you to get product support and provide feedback on your experience.
Finally, the "About" section allows you to enter or update your license information (if applicable), check your version number, and read the end-user license agreement (EULA).
