How to Import Geospatial Scan Data from Dot3D into Autodesk ReCap (with large geo-coordinates preserved)

Quick Summary:
Step 1: Export to E57 from Dot3D. Make sure "Control Targets" or "GNSS" output transform is selected (depending which you used).
Step 2: Import the E57 file into CloudCompare, and follow the prompts to "translate/rescale the entity".
Step 3: Merge the individual frames by selecting all frames and then pressing the "merge" button.
Step 4: Save/Export to E57 from CloudCompare.
Step 5: Import the new E57 file into Autodesk ReCap. All import settings (and advanced import settings) can be left on their defaults.

Guide with Images:
