Troubleshooting: What to do if Dot3D is crashing (suddenly quitting its operation)

We're doing our best at DotProduct to maintain a high standard of quality in our software, ensuring it runs stably and smoothly across a variety of
system specs, operating systems, 3D sensors, driver/firmware versions etc.
However, we can't exclude the possibility that Dot3D may crash (i.e. suddenly quit operation) in particular circumstances on some specific host computer configurations.
Answer:
In case you are experiencing crashing behavior, you can actively help to resolve the issue by filing a ticket with DotProduct with a short description of what happened plus the following two attachments:
- One or several crash reports (to be found in the folder Documents/Dot3D/Crashes)
- The Dot3D Log file (to be found in the folder Documents/Dot3D/Logs)
Having these things will help us immensely with fixing any problems related to the crash in a timely manner.
