Which export formats does Dot3D support?
Dot3D will export to up to 10 different color point cloud formats. Please see below for the available options, depending on your license type:
Dot3D Pro direct export options: DP, PTS, PTX, PLY, PTG, E57, LAS, LAZ, RCS (Windows only), POD (Windows only)
Dot3D Lite (formerly Dot3D Scan) direct export options: DP, PTS, PLY
Dot3D Edit direct export options: DP, PTS, PTX, PLY, PTG, E57, LAS, LAZ, RCS (Windows only), POD (Windows only)
We recommend working with the highly compressed native DP format (Save / Save As) whenever possible. Please
