If you determine that you have missed an area in a scan that you would like to be collected while looking at your raw data, you can choose to append to your scan, and collect more data. First, click the "Scan/Append" button in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
Next, select the option that says "Append to this scan". this will pull up a list of locations that you can start appending your scan from.
In your list of locations, look for a starting point that nothing has changed in since you stopped scanning. A starting position with good geometry is also recommended. You can then press on your chosen image to move on to the next step.
The location you have chosen to start appending at should appear as a transparent image over your cameras view. From here, move your camera over to the location depicted on your screen, until they overlap correctly. You should start automatically collecting more data when the camera is in the right position.
You can now continue scanning, adding all of the data you collect to your already finished scan file seamlessly. Press the finish button when you are done collecting the new data for your scan.
