To save and export your scan in Dot3D, select "File>Save as" when you're ready.

You will now be able to save your scan as a DP file. it is recommended that you save your data to the DP file format, and work in the DP file format for as long as you can, depending on you're workflow. If you want to use your scan outside of Dot3D for iOS, check the "Use Compatibility Mode" box before continuing. This ensures that your file can work with Dot3D for Windows and Android, as well as other third-party software that reads the DP format. This feature will be updated in the future. Press "OKAY" to continue.

Next, you can choose where you want to save the file. If you want to transport your data from a tablet or phone to a Windows computer using the iTunes method, save it to the root "Dot3D" folder.

After selecting your file location, you'll be asked to choose your output transform options. Usually, it will automatically select the options that make the most sense. You can continue by pressing "SAVE SCENE" and finalizing the export.
