Annotations can be useful for highlighting certain items or areas in a scan, as well as saving information about certain points.

To begin working with annotations, click on the annotate tab on the top bar.

If you have any unfinished annotation points from your scan, you should first click the "Complete Unfinished" button.

From here, you can fill in the fields to add any necessary information about your annotation. This can include the type of annotation, captions, detailed information, coordinates of the point, images associated with the annotation, or web links.

Once you have added all the necessary information, press the "Complete" button to finish editing the annotation.

In addition, you can also add new annotations post-scan to any point in your scene. In the annotations tab, press the "Add New Annotation" button located in the top left corner. Then, hold down on the point where you would like the new annotation to be, and release when you are satisfied.

Now, you can create either a point or photo annotation, depending on whether you would like to attach a photograph to the point.
